How to Join
Membership in MIBS is open to public, private and parochial schools that
have a bona fide "candidate" or "authorized" status
in the IB.
Benefits and purposes of membership
MIBS will:

Be active support for the IB coordinator in each member school

Provide a network for collaboration among professional staff

Serve as a clearinghouse for ideas and materials relating to IB
programs

Provide support for developing IB programs within the region

Foster recognition and understanding of the IB by universities and
colleges

Act as a liaison between the IB and its members, state boards of
education and state legislatures

Serve as a collective voice and liaison with IB

Provide education about IB programs and professional development
opportunities for schools, districts, universities and state agencies

Facilitate professional, student and public discussion of all programs
of the IB

Pool resources, ideas and influence to secure the best possible
advantages for member schools and its students
